1. Privacy Policy
ClozeForge operates on a βLocal First, Privacy Alwaysβ philosophy. There are no accounts, no login and no server-side profile: your study data is written by your own device and never sent to us. If you buy a subscription in the iOS app, Apple processes the payment and we only ever see the anonymous entitlement status that Apple reports to the app.
1.1 What We Never Collect
We do not sell your personal data, keystrokes, or learning history to advertising brokers.
We do not read device identifiers, advertising IDs, install tokens or precise location.
We do not train external third-party public AI models on your sentence notes or custom decks.
1.2 Local Storage & Offline Vault
Your study queues, card stability ratings, difficulty ratings, and streak counters are stored directly on your own device: SwiftData on iOS and browser localStorage on the web. Nothing is uploaded, and we cannot read any of it. Deleting the app (iOS) or clearing site data for this domain (web) erases everything immediately and irreversibly.

Right to Access & Portability
Export 100% of your reviews, FSRS-5 stability coefficients, and created cards into standard CSV or Anki TSV format directly from settings.
Right to Erasure (Be Forgotten)
Because all data lives on your own device, clearing site data for the web app (or deleting the iOS app) immediately and irreversibly destroys every record. We hold no copy to delete on your behalf.
Zero Automated Profiling
We do not build advertising profiles or behavioral credit scores. The only machine learning run is the open-source FSRS-5 scheduling math.
Non-Discrimination
Exercising your privacy rights will never degrade your service tier, learning features, or drill speeds in ClozeForge.

Where is my study history and card progress stored?
All study queues, card stability ratings, difficulty scores, and review logs are stored on your own device: SwiftData in the iOS app, browser localStorage in the web app. No copy exists on any server we control.
What is the refund policy for ClozeForge subscriptions?
Subscriptions are sold only inside the iOS app and are billed by Apple, so trials, cancellation and refunds follow your Apple ID and the App Store terms. The web app itself is free. Questions: forge@clozeforge.com.
